One Big Question Mark...

What does this taste like? Do we even have a clean kiddie spoon? Did any of this actually get past her mouth? Is Richard going to get a second job inorder to pay for the organic version? Am I wrong or is more of it coming out than in? She's supposed to eat all of this? Won't we be here all day then? Do you think she will like the sweet potatoes better? Would it be wrong to tie her hands down so she won't grab the spoon everytime it comes near her? People look forward to this? Doesn't she look like a big girl in her highchair? Do you think we should have purchased oatmeal instead of the brown rice? She's a mess, where's the washcloth? Should we give her her bottle before or after?

Sarah Jane's first spoon feeding. Can you tell she's just thinking..."Where's the bottle?"

Can Auntie Lisa feed you when you come? Maybe Sirri? Think your Mommy will let me feed you ice cream? Don't you think that'd taste better? Do you have big girl gross poo yet? Think your momma can hack it? How many days til you come see me? Is there anyone cuter than you?

Oh she looks so cute in her high chair! Giving a bottle sure would be easier, huh? Wait until she starts spitting back at you too, then it gets real fun!

I guess beings they don't know any better, they think it is good! She sure sits up there nice! She is so darned cute and we can hardly wait to see her - and you and Richard! And, she will be eating ice cream before you know it, Aunt Lisa!
Love you!

my question is: When did you start biting your nails again? Leave it to me to notice this when there is an adorable baby in the picture right?

XOXO

Yay! The first REAL food day.
We actually just did that with Owen yesterday! And um, ditto to all your questions. It must be a weird feeling the first time that food goes in their mouth.

She'll figure out in very short order how to coordinate the tongue with the spoon and the swallowing thing in a day or two! I'm sure that you will wear some of the cereal for awhile! Mom
