this morning sarah asked me to switch one of her little riding toys into the standing postition. she hasn't used them as a push toy in probably a year or more. i thought it was a strange request, but did it for her anyway. a few minutes later she came around the corner with one foot on the back of it and one foot pushing on the floor like she was riding a scooter. "scooter," she told me. who would have thought? i know i certainly wouldn't have. she had a blast scooting all around the house.

she really is SO smart! and hilarious. that's a good (and maybe a bit dangerous) combo.
Hey! She is so observant! You will be so surprised at all the things she will come up with that you don't even know she knows about!! She is such a sharp little girl and, so darling!!!
